Busellato Spa was founded in 1956 and immediately showed itself to be one of the most important industrial names in the sector of machines for woodworking and derivatives.
In 1967, the company was employing nearly 40 workers when it launched the "Favorit" onto the market. The "Favorit" was the first automatic machine able to perform every type of boring operation with any degree of tilt. Even today, some of Busellato's oldest customers are still using this model.
In 1970, the German and Swiss markets caught on to Busellato's exceptional quality and began purchasing it over local brands. This lead to the launch of the first fully automatic boring / doweling machine.
In 1971, Busellato enhanced the capability of it's automatic boring / doweling machine by adding a automatic loading option. Thus, the birth of the first fully automatic boring / doweling machine with automatic loading.
In 1976, the engineers at Busellato designed and released the first ever numerical control or "NC" machining center for boring and milling operations. This was an industry game changer.
In 1981, once again, Busellato shocked the industry when they released the first multi spindle boring machine with 100% electronic management along with the possibility to control more than 20 axes.
In 1990, the innovative family of "JET" machining centers was launched. The raw speed and flexibility of these machines further strengthened Busellato's position as a global leader in the industry.
In 2000, the company obtains ISO 9001 certification as recognition of it's top quality organisation systems. The certification signals to the industry Busellato's commitment to quality and customer service.
In 2002, Busellato extended the certification with Version 2000 thanks to the company's excellent customer care and service.
In 2008, Busellato and Casadei join forces to create Casade-Busellato Teamwork. This partnership was created to present customers with a solid alternative to the the established big German and Italian machinery manufacturers.
In 2019, Casadei-Busellato enlists the expertise of JKL Machinery as the exclusive North American Distributor for the brand. The decision was made in order to reestablish the focus on customer service and support which CB customers have grown to expect over the years.
